This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Indonesian Madrasah Competency Assessment (AKMI) results in enhancing students' science literacy through the use of interactive multimedia handouts based on discovery learning, supported by educational games. According to data from the 2022 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), Indonesia's science literacy score dropped by 13 points compared to the previous assessment, placing the country 102 points below the global average. This downward trend highlights an urgent need for innovative educational interventions to improve science literacy, a critical component in advancing education in the digital era. Strengthening science literacy is essential to addressing challenges in educational quality. This study uses a literature review methodology, analyzing primary data from relevant research documents and secondary data from supporting academic literature. The findings demonstrate that interactive multimedia handouts, combined with discovery learning and educational games, effectively increase student engagement and understanding. Furthermore, these tools have been shown to motivate students, enhance critical thinking skills, and deepen comprehension of scientific concepts. Specifically, the study reveals that these interactive multimedia handouts, supported by games, can improve students' critical thinking skills by 28%. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and teacher preparedness in implementing this approach remain. In conclusion, leveraging AKMI results to design technology-driven, multimedia, and game-based learning strategies offers significant potential for improving science literacy among students, while also contributing to the overall enhancement of science education quality in madrasah.
