Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka had many advantages in providing space for students to develop their abilities, talents, and interest. With a freedom in choosing subject would make students optimized their potencies. The results of AKMI (Asesmen Kompetensi Madrasah Indonesia) gave capability maps about the level of literacy proficiency. The purpose of this study was how the AKMI results could be integrated by Madrasah in determining the choice of elective subjects based on students’ ability at phase F (grade XI and XII). The method of this study was qualitative descriptive. The result of AKMI would give a complete understanding to Madrasah team management, counselor teachers, homeroom teachers, and elective subject teachers. The integration of AKMI results was very effective in determining the mechanism and data processing for selecting elective subjects. The result of AKMI made the decisions making in Madrasah more accurate for the smooth process of selecting the elective subjects. MAN 1 Konawe Selatan is one of Madrasah that utilize the AKMI results in determining the kind of elective subjects at grade XI and XII. The data of AKMI results was followed up by Madrasah in to determine the elective subjects. The conclusion of this writing was the election of elective subjects for phase F students at Madrasah very necessary to consider the AKMI result. Beside that, AKMI results made Madrasah would more realistic in making a decision especially about what subjects would be chosen at phase F.
